Pie Baking Perfection
Filling your kitchen with warm memories is easy.
LARGE (10 in, 3 lb) FRUIT PIE BAKING INSTRUCTIONS
PREHEAT oven to 375°F.
REMOVE frozen pie from plastic & place on baking sheet.
BAKE for 40 minutes, then increase oven temperature to 400°F. Bake for an additional 30 minutes. Ovens vary; adjust cooking times as needed. Ensure pie is cooked thoroughly to 165°F.
COOL for 1 hour after carefully removing the pie from the oven. It will be hot! Enjoy within 3 days of baking. Cover & refrigerate leftover pie.
PREHEAT the oven to 350°F.
REMOVE frozen pie from plastic & place on baking sheet.
BAKE for approx. 75-90 minutes or until golden brown. Do not overbake, the center will firm during cooling. Ovens vary; adjust cooking times as needed. Ensure pie is cooked thoroughly to 165˚F.
COOL for 1 hour after carefully removing the pie from the oven. It will be hot! Enjoy within 3 days of baking. Cover & refrigerate leftovers.
PUMPKIN PIE BAKING INSTRUCTIONS
FROZEN PIE CRUSTS BAKING INSTRUCTIONS
SINGLE CRUST PIES
PREHEAT oven according to your recipe.
REMOVE pie crust from freezer & place on baking sheet.
THAW crust for 20-30 minutes.
POUR filling into crust and bake as your recipe directs.
PREHEAT oven according to your recipe.
REMOVE pie crusts from freezer. While frozen, carefully remove 1 crust from tin & place on parchment or wax paper to thaw for 20-30 minutes.
PLACE other crust on baking sheet & pour in filling. Brush edges with beaten egg, milk or water. Place thawed crust on top of pie. Crimp edges to seal. Pierce pie with knife or fork to allow steam to vent during baking.
BAKE as your recipe directs.
DOUBLE CRUST PIES
PREHEAT oven to 425°F.
REMOVE pie crust from freezer & place on baking sheet. Thaw crust for 20-30 minutes. Using a fork, prick bottom & sides of the crust.
LINE the crust with parchment or wax paper & cover entire bottom with pie weights (dried beans/rice work great!).
BAKE for 15-17 minutes or until the crust edges begin to brown. Carefully remove crust from oven. Remove paper & pie weights. Return the crust to the oven (without weights) for 5-6 more minutes or until bottom crust begins to brown.
CRUSTS FOR NO-BAKE PIE RECIPES
MINIS BAKING INSTRUCTIONS
AIR FRY
PREHEAT air fryer to 300°F. Remove frozen pie(s) from plastic overwrap.
BAKE in air fryer 13 minutes or until an internal temp. of 145°F is reached.
REMOVE from air fryer & allow to cool for at least 2 minutes. CAUTION: Pie(s) will be HOT!
MICROWAVE
REMOVE a single frozen pie from the plastic overwrap & remove the aluminum pie tin.
WRAP pie in a paper towel & microwave on HIGH for 1 minute & 15 seconds or until an internal temp. of 145°F is reached.
COOL for at least 1 minute. CAUTION: Pie will be HOT!
OVEN
PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Remove frozen pie(s) from plastic overwrap & place on baking sheet.
BAKE for 25 minutes or until an internal temp. of 145°F is reached.
REMOVE from oven & allow to cool for at least 5 minutes. CAUTION: Pie(s) will be HOT!
